Some gold jewellery including a gold bar and gold coins robbed from Taunggyi quadruple homicide case are still missing, according to the family of the people who were murdered.

The robbers took two gold rings with blue gems, four gold bracelets with red gems, three gold necklaces, six gold bars, three diamond bracelets, 14 gold bracelets, two gold combs, one gold hair clip, 300 silver coins, 11 gold necklaces, 13 gold bracelets and K4 million in cash.

The police found about one viss (weighing 16.66 kg) of gold and Ks720,000 in cash from the house of convicted murderer in Kyaukme Township on May 1 and five gold bars from his room on May 3.

“We don’t know what kinds of gold are missing but the gold coins are not found yet. One out of six gold bars is still missing,” said one of the family members.

The seized gold jewellery will be transferred to Taunggyi Township police station from Kyaukme Township police station. They will be submitted the court as evidences of the case, said Taunggyi district police head.
