In a significant operation, the Anti-Narcotics Police Force intercepted a drug trafficking attempt in Nawnghkio Township, Shan State (North).

Acting on a tip-off, authorities searched a Hyundai Grand Starex vehicle near the Oriental Tollgate on the Lashio-Mandalay Union Road. The vehicle, driven by Min Min, concealed a staggering 1.29 million stimulant pills and 2.48 kilos of Happy Water, valued at approximately 769 million kyats.

Further investigation led to the arrest of Kyaw Thu Aung, who had instructed Min Min to transport the illicit substances. The seized drugs were en route from Shan State (North) to Mandalay Region.

The Anti-Narcotics Police Force has taken legal action against those involved, and efforts continue to identify the entire criminal network behind this operation.
