Fatal stabbing claims taxi driver's life under Tamwe flyover

A tragic incident unfolded under the Tamwe flyover in Yangon on the night of April 24, as a taxi driver fell victim to a fatal stabbing.

Around 10 o'clock that evening, reports emerged from Tamwe Township detailing the stabbing of a taxi driver beneath the flyover. Authorities rushed to the scene upon receiving the distressing news, but unfortunately, the victim had already succumbed to his injuries.

An official representing the Myanmar Muslim Charitable Organization, who responded to the incident, shared, "When we received word of the stabbing, we immediately proceeded to the location. However, by the time we arrived, the victim had tragically passed away but we could able to contact to his family."

According to reports, the deceased taxi driver was identified as a 50-year-old resident of Mingalaan Taung Nyunt Township.

Following the incident, the Myanmar Muslim Charity Organization facilitated the transportation of the deceased's body to Thingangyun Hospital.
