In Mon State, a total of 5,767 students participated in the matriculation examination for the academic year 2023-24. However, 246 students were notably absent from the exam, as reported by the Mon State Education Office.

This figure reflects a decrease in the number of students compared to the previous year’s exam.

The Mon State Education Office had initially received registrations from 6,220 students for the 2023-24 exam. Despite this, only 5,768 students took part in the Burmese subject exam on the specified day. The decline in student participation may be attributed to factors such as the concentration of exam centers in certain townships and other logistical considerations.

Overall, students from 10 townships in Mon State are actively participating in the matriculation exam for 2023-24 accademic year.
