Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than received the delegation led by Vice-President Mr. P K Shah of the Nipha Exports Private Limited from India in the reception hall of the Union Minister Office on March 19.

During the meeting, they discussed imports of equipment needed for the industrial sector in Myanmar, MSMEs, steel, cement, medicine, and textile and garment equipment industries needed to  improve the production sector, technology support issues. They also discussed matters on promoting trade and investment between the two countries via direct payment in Indian rupees and Myanmar kyats in trade activities.

Present on the occasion were deputy minister U Yin Maung Nyunt, director-generals, managing directors and officials.
