Myanmar citizens have been allowed to travel to Thailand from Myawady-Mae Sot No. 1 Friendship Bridge at around 10 am on April 27.

The departure of Myanmar nationals from Myawady-Mae Sot No. 1 Friendship Bridge to the Mae Sot has been banned since the morning of April 21 due to the fighting, and they have been allowed since 10 am today.

"As soon as the bridge opened, people who were going to leave Thailand came in droves. We came to leave for Thailand where we work. We have been in Myawady for four or five days, and we are very happy when we were allowed to leave this morning," said a young woman who was going to work in Thailand.

It is reported that the relevant authorities are working to reopen Myawady-Mae Sot No. 2 Friendship Bridge, which was damaged due to the fighting.
