In a heartbreaking incident, a woman suddenly blacked out at Mandalay’s Zegyo Market in the Mandalay Region. She was swiftly taken to the hospital, but tragically, she passed away en route. 

The Mani Sala Social and Rescue Association confirmed this unfortunate turn of events.

Earlier that morning, the victim had been shopping at Zegyo Market when she unexpectedly lost consciousness. Concerned bystanders promptly sought assistance from the Mani Sala Social and Rescue Association.

Upon her arrival at the Out Patient Department in Mandalay General Hospital, the woman was pronounced dead. Now, the association is working diligently to identify the deceased.

Notably, the region has been experiencing a surge in temperatures since early April. This has led to sudden deaths from hemorrhagic strokes, and some individuals have also fainted and suffered from high fevers, as reported by the Mani Sala Social and Rescue Association.
