The Peace Process Steering Team (PPST) announced after their meeting on February 20 that it will be cooperating with both international and domestic forces to bring military dictatorship to an end as well as other political issues.

The team, made out of 10 ethnic armed forces that are signatory to National Ceasefire Act (NCA), held meetings via video conferencing on 19 and 20 February.

The PPST announced that it will be stopping all negotiations with the coup council, demanding the release of all those that have been detained as well as supporting the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) by the people, vowing to find ways to keep supporting CDM.

PPST's acting leader General Yawd Serk said in his speech that the goals of establishing a federal union, democracy, end to military dictatorship; all are goals that will require treading on the road full of hardships, calling for all the people and ethnicities to join hands together.

He also said that the PPST condemns the violence inflicted upon the people, announcing the PPST's unyeilding support to the people in their fight.
