Bilin Township Administration Office targeted by bomb attack; no injuries reported

According to statements from residents, the office of Bilin Township General Administration Department in Mon State experienced a bomb attack on the morning of April 9.

At approximately 9:45 a.m., residents reported hearing three explosions emanating from within the Township General Administration Office.

One Bilin resident mentioned, "I heard that the building was damaged by a bomb dropped on the office, but thankfully, there were no injuries."

The bomb, reportedly dropped from a drone, caused damage to the roof of the office. A source close to the security forces confirmed that there was damage to the ceiling and windows, yet fortunately, no casualties were reported.

This incident follows a similar attack on the Bilin Township General Administration Department on the morning of January 18, 2023. On that occasion, a drone attack resulted in a bomb exploding on the roof of the building, which is typically utilized by guests for recreational purposes.
