An official from the Thittsar Mandai social organization in Dawbon Township reported that a YBS bus overturned and caught fire after being struck by another vehicle. The incident occurred on March 8 at around 11:00 am near the Warso Bridge in Dawbon Township.

The official detailed, "No. 134 YBS bus was approaching from the direction of the Japanese bridge from Dawbon, while another vehicle was coming from Pazundaung Township. Instead of driving along the Japanese bridge, the vehicle veered off its course and collided with the YBS bus from behind causing the bus to roll over."

After such an accident, the YBS vehicle's fuel tank leaked and caught fire from the vehicle's exhaust, resulted in injuries to six individuals—four women and two men. They were promptly taken to Yangon General Hospital, with their injuries described as yellow level. Immediate medical assistance was provided to the other injured man at the scene.

Fire truck each from Dawbon and Pazundaung Township fire stations extinguished the blaze, announced Myanmar Fire Services Department (MFSD).
