Some of the highway bus operators at the Aung Mingalar Expressway Terminal said that the passengers need to bring a recommendation letter from the respective community and police station in addition to the national registration cards (NRC) to travel.

"If you buy a highway bus ticket, you need to bring the NRC. If you are going to travel, you need a recommendation letter which is taken within a week from the ward or police station," said an official from New Asia Bus Line.

An official from the Myat Mandala Tun expressway bus line said that it is necessary to bring the NRC before traveling, but it is now necessary to bring a recommendation letter.

An official from Mandala Min expressway bus line said that those who are returning to the place mentioned in the NRC, they only need to bring the NRC, and those who are traveling to other places need to bring ward and police recommendation letter.

"If you are going back to your hometown, you can register. If you are going to another place for work, you must bring a recommendation letter from the ward and police station," said an official of the Mandala Min expressway bus line.

In the past, it was only necessary to bring the NRC when traveling, but starting from the last few days, it is necessary to bring recommendation letter, according to some passenger lines.
