Help is needed to rebuild houses damaged by the fire in Thakaepyin (Tham) Village, Ingapu Township, Ayeyawady Region and 15 houses were damaged by fire on the afternoon of February 13.

"We are currently planning to make food and accommodation for the families affected by the fire. In order for the support to have a proper impact, the elders of the community are also planning to restore the homes of those affected by the fire. We intend to build small bamboo houses. A bamboo house can cost around one million kyats. Donations are still needed," answered an elder of the community.

"Families affected by the fire lost everything from their clothes and tableware in the fire, so they are in a difficult situation to restore from the beginning. Some of them are lived in their relative’s home. Most of them have put up small tents on the ground. Charitable groups and donors are also donating. We also donated to those who are injured in the fire at the hospital. We want donors to help rebuild their houses. There are many families affected by the fire." A donor said.
