State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, left Nay Pyi Taw  on June 1 to pay an official visit to Czech Republic and a working visit to Hungary, reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The State Counsellor's official visit to Czech Republic would be from June 2 to 4 according to the invitation of Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis. Her working visit to Hungary would be from June 5 and 6, the ministry said in a statement.

Those accompanied the State Counsellor on the same flight were Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Myanmar delegation led by State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was seen off at the airport by Min Thu, Union Minister for Union Government Office, Dr Myo Aung, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council and responsible persons and staff of Czech embassy, according to the report of the MOFA.

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi attended the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in Beijing, the People's Republic of China at the end of April and signed agreements as to economic ties between Myanmar and China.

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi returned Nay Pyi Taw on May 1 after paying an official visit to Cambodia via China.
