SAC chairman meets with the UN Special Envoy

NAYPYITAW------Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing yesterday met with Ms Noeleen Heyzer, Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Myanmar at the parlour of the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw.

At the meeting, both sides discussed about promotion of trust and cooperation between Myanmar and the United Nations.

On the occasion were SAC’s Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin and U Ko Ko Hlaing and officials.

Likewise, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin received Ms Noeleen Heyzer, Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Myanmar at his office in Nay Pyi Taw separately.

During the meeting, the Union Minister stressed that it is necessary for the United Nations to constructively and pragmatically review its approach in its cooperation with Myanmar. He also explained the information on current developments in Myanmar.
