Tornado damages five houses in Mon State, Myanmar

Late last night, a powerful tornado wreaked havoc in Aung Zeya Street, Theinkon ward, Thaton Townships, Mon State. 

Despite the absence of rain, strong winds swept through the area, causing severe damage to five houses.

 The roofs of these homes, along with nearby water tankers, were blown away. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. During the tornado, galvanized iron sheets were sent flying through the air. 

In the aftermath, firefighters from the Thaton Township Fire Services Department, along with social welfare organizations and local residents, worked together to clean up the debris.
