General Maung Maung Aye meets Indian Joint Director-General of Military Intelligence in Nay Pyi Taw to discuss enhanced military cooperation

The Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and the Joint Director General of Military Intelligence of the India met at the reception hall of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on June 12 and discussed more military cooperation issues.

At the meeting, they openly exchanged views on the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two armed forces, military cooperation, trainees exchange, plans to cooperate in peace and stability, security and law enforcement at the border regions between the two countries.

Lt-Gen Ko Ko Oo of the Office of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services (Army), senior military officers, Indian Defence Attaché Colonel Jaswinder Singh Gill and officials attended the meeting.
