MANDALAY----An administrator in Paliek, Sintgaing Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region, was shot dead this morning, according to the locals.

The locals said that an administrator was shot dead in his house.

“While he was in his house, he was shot. He is an administrator not only at the time of an government taken office led by National League for Democracy but also at the time of State Administration Council,” said a local from Paleik.

Sintgaing People’s Defense Force(PDF) wrote on their facebook saying that local PDF together with unidentified guerilla task force in Mandalay shot him at his house. Later, they exploded the time bomb around 8am of October 28th.
