Clashes near Kyatpyin Police Station in Mogok, Mandalay Region

Clashes erupted near Kyatpyin Police Station in Mogok, Mandalay Region on June 27.

Reports indicate that joint forces of TNLA (Ta'ang National Liberation Army) and PDF (People's Defense Force) entered Mogok, seizing control of its western part and engaging in intense combat to gain access to the police station.

 Locals have observed houses near the station catching fire amidst the fighting. 

Additionally, on the same day, TNLA launched attacks on security camps outside Hsipaw, as reported by residents. Since June 25, TNLA and PDF have intensified their assaults on Mogok Township in Mandalay Region, as well as Madaya Township, Naungcho in northern Shan State, and Kyaukme Township. 

These attacks have resulted in civilian casualties due to gunfire, according to local sources and social media reports which also indicate that TNLA and PDF forces have successfully occupied several areas in Naungcho and Kyaukme.
