Basic education institutions, including universities and colleges, have commenced their 2024-2025 academic year on June 3. 

According to reports, students from high schools, middle schools, primary schools, as well as universities and colleges, have already started attending classes.

The enrollment week for the 2024-2025 academic year was scheduled from May 23 to June 2. During this enrollment period, more than 6.2 million students have enrolled in basic education schools, private schools, and monastic schools across various regions and states.

Comparing with the previous academic year (2023-2024), the enrollment week from May 23 to June 2, 2023, witnessed a total of 1,343,037 students enrolled in Basic Education Schools, Private Schools, and Monastic Schools across various regions and states.
