Two men threw two Molotov cocktails to Insein Ywama Pariyatti Monastery in Yangon Region on June 19, according to the information team of the State Administration Council (SAC).

The security forces had been informed that Insein Ywama Pariyatti Monastery in Ywama West Ward, Insein Township was attacked using Molotov cocktails at around 6 pm, on June 19 and it was reported that two men riding on a motorcycle threw two Molotov cocktails and drove away.

The Molotov cocktails hit a three-story building in the monastery and a window from second-floor was shattered.

According to the press release, the security forces are investigating to take legal action against the perpetrators of the attack.
