There is no country in the world that does not have Tatmadaw. Similarly there are also political organizations and social ones as well as other ones. Tatmadaw is a well-disciplined and well-trained organization and the most well-built one as well , said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.

The remarks came from the speech of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in his meet with officer instructors, officer and other rank trainees of Tatmadaw (Army) Combat Forces School (Bahtoo) and Tatmadaw (Army) Warrant Officer and Sergeant Training School in Bahtoo Station in Mandalay on January 17.

Tatmadawmen have already cultivated good moralities of safeguarding the country as they enter the military circle of their own. Tatmadawmen are required to have good morality, disciplines, health, fitness and skill just like brave soldiers. Tatmadawmen must steadfastly follow disciplines including dress uniform. Tatmadawmen should realize and take pride as Tatmadaw is a well-disciplined organization, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

A good soldier needs to have good morality and discipline. If good morality is further strengthened, life can be promoted during performing military service. Tatmadaw must be built to be the one on whom the State can rely by carrying out general staff, quartermaster and adjutant affairs, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Different trainings are being conducted to promote individual skills. There is a training motto, saying ‘study, practice and obey. Advance technologies and military arts must be studied, practised and obeyed. All Tatmadawmen must have skills in their respective work areas in order to build a skillful Tatmadaw. Individuals must train and cultivate bravery. Combat schools are teaching martial arts to the trainees to have fighting spirit, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

We must try through management hierarchical and correct leadership to meet success of individuals and military units. We must have a spirit of goodwill in every work. Everybody has a chance of taking hold of number one position, but it is impossible for all of them to be like this. Everyone has a chance of securing number one position in all trainings. For that reason, every one should make efforts without missing the chance, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Also present at the meetings were Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Eastern Command Maj-Gen Lin Aung, commandants, officer instructors, officer trainees and other rank trainees from training schools of Bahtoo Station.
