Rain is pouring in most of the townships in Yangon Region, which are suffering from the heat, according to Yangon residents.
A resident of Kyauktada Township said that it has been raining heavily in most townships in Yangon since the afternoon of May 11.
"It rained a lot in the city at around 1 pm. I have to be careful when driving a car," said a Kyauktada Township resident.
In addition, the sun is hot and rain is pouring in Shwepyitha Township, said a resident of the township.
"The rain that rained the other day had wind. The rain that rained today had no wind. It contained a lot of water. It had been raining since the afternoon. Now the sun is coming out while it is raining," said a resident of Shwepyitha Township.
It is raining heavily and the wind is blowing in Thaketa Township, according to the residents of the township.
"The weather is cloudy. Now it's raining. There is a lot of water. The wind is not strong," said a resident of Thaketa Township.
According to the forecast made by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH), rain clouds are developing in Sagaing, Mandalay, Tanintharyi regions, eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon states, and along the area where these rain clouds move, there is rain along with weather phenomena such as strong winds, thunders, lightning, and hail may occur.
