It has been reported that two young children, aged three and four, have gone missing in DaikU town in the Bago Region and Kalay town in the Sagaing Region.

The three-year-old, Maung Zwe Marn Thit, is the youngest son of U Aye Zaw Myint and Daw Nwe Nwe Soe. They reside in the western part of Shan Su Village, located in DaikU Township. The child disappeared on February 24 at 5:00 p.m. According to the boy’s father, he vanished from their home. The mother had briefly stepped away to collect food, and when she called him for dinner, he was nowhere to be found. The father expressed his confusion and concern on a social networking site, wondering how such an incident could occur. As of the morning of February 26, the child remains missing.

Describing his son, the father mentioned that Maung Zwe Marn Thit is not very talkative. However, if he comes across a family photo, he may engage in conversation with family members.

On February 25, Ma May Zin Kyaw, a four-year-old girl and the younger daughter of U Hla Myaing and Daw Ei Nyo, disappeared from her home in Aung Thitsa Ward, Kalay, located in the Sagaing Region. The child’s aunt shared this distressing news on a social networking site.

The aunt’s heartfelt plea reads as follows: “If the child is returned safely, no complaint will be filed. If you are hesitant due to fear, please leave her at a nearby monastery or along the roadside. I will express my gratitude to the person who ensures her safe return. My niece, Ma May Zin Kyaw, is over four years old. She was last seen wearing red clothes.”
