The 2nd International machines and machinery exhibition was held at the Kanaung Hall in Mandalay industrial zone.

It is the second of its kind and will be held from November 27 to 29.

“The first exhibition was held in May last year. This year, unlike last year, industrial zones from upper Myanmar such as Myingyan, Monywa, Meikhtila will be participating. In addition a robotic exhibition by youths will also included,” said Zar Tin Myint from Ngwe Pin Lei media who is also the organizer of the event.

The aims of holding the exhibition are raise more knowledge about local products among the public, and to exchange technological know-how for connecting with international companies.

The exhibition will stage machinery, spare parts for vehicles, machines used for agriculture, and consumer products. There will be more than 80 booths. A talk show will also be held at the event. Talks on import substitute local products, currency exchange, farm implements, and challenges for producing farm machinery.
