Taungoo district KNU denies any authority from SAC and CRPH

They won’t totally accept any authorization from State Administration Council (SAC) and the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) in the KNU controlled area in Taungoo district, announced Karen National Union (KNU) for the district on February 24.

It said they will stand with the statement made by the KNU on the military coup.

It said they will not accept any union, states and regions and township levels administration councils appointed by the SAC.

Moreover they will also be against the arrangements set by the CRPH.

The KNU for the district urged village and ward administrators and officials from the general administration department not to be involved in governmental tasks.

It will try its best to emerge a new constitution based on a federal state.

The KNU for the district will support the peaceful protest caused by the military coup and asked the military junta not to crackdown on the protestors and to arrest and sue.

The KNU for the district said they will continue to fight for equality and self-enactment.
