Police capture armed robbers involved in Mandalay phone shop robbery

Authorities detained two armed individuals who stormed into the Paradise Phone Shop, situated at the intersection of 69th Street and 38th Street in Mandalay at approximately 6:30 pm on June 12.

Brandishing long knives, they menaced both the shop proprietor and its staff, forcibly taking away several mobile phones.

Expressing the incident's aftermath on social media, the shop owner lamented the loss of the stolen phones, specifically identifying them as Redmi A3 4/128Gb models in blue and black variants. Local residents of Mandalay emphasized that the robbery transpired in a densely populated area within the city.

Coincidentally, on the same date, an explosion rocked the vicinity of Zwe Htet jewelry shop in Mandalay, resulting in injuries to five individuals.
