CRYH forms legal support team to provide legal aid

A legal support team has been formed to provide suggestions about legal affairs and help deal with lawsuits, according to a statement released by the Committee Representing Yangon Hluttaw (CRyH) on February 24. 

The statement says that on behalf of CRYH, the legal support team will effectively help deal with unfair arrests of people and threats to public lives and property in Yangon and ensure public security and rule of law.

Elected parliamentary representatives from the National League for Democracy (NLD) in Yangon Region called a virtual parliamentary meeting and took their oaths on February 6. 

The Committee Representing Yangon Hluttaw (CRYH) was formed with 15 regional parliamentary representatives on February 8.
