Border guard force kills one RSO in Rakhine

One member of Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) was killed in the fighting between border guard forces and the RSO on May 12, according to a press release.

The border guard forces found about 50 RSO members at a place between border posts BP-51 and BP-52 around 7:30 am on May 12 and they exchanged fires with the RSO members, it said.

The RSOs retreated to Bangladesh and the border guard forces found a body of the RSO along with an M-22 gun and its ammunition. One member of the border guard forces is wounded and sent to a military hospital in Buthidaung, it said.

The security forces are implementing to have stability and security in border areas, to stop illegal border crossing and carrying of narcotic drugs, it said.
