On March 30, King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida of Thailand visited Venerable Mong Pong Sayadaw Nyana Sanvara in the Chiang Rai district.
The Sayadaw, who is currently residing there, presented Buddha Statues to the royal couple.
Devotees from both Myanmar and Thailand pay their respects to the esteemed Sayadaw.
Notably, the Mong Pong Sayadaw had previously received medical treatments in Thailand last year.
His remarkable prediction in 2018—that the children from the Wild Boar Football Team, who were trapped in a cave, would be found alive—continues to resonate with many.
