A motorcycle taxi driver was shot dead in North Dagon Township on the night of September 30.
An unidentified man shot and killed the motorcycle taxi driver on Union Road, 45th Ward, North Dagon Township around 7:30 pm on September 30, said a resident.
"The motorcycle taxi driver was shot dead at night and security forces arrived after the incident to investigate," said a resident.
The incident took place near the police station and there were investigations after the incident.
An explosion also occurred on Zeyar Thuka Road, Thingangyun Township on the evening of September 30.
