Security forces found 10,000 Kyat counterfeit notes, fake national registration cards and parts of handmade guns and bullets while conducting a drug raid in Mawlamyine, according to people close to the security forces.

According to the information of drugs, the security forces searched the home of Zin Thaw aka Thar Gyi in Myoshaung Road in Mawlamyine on the evening of April 4.

Security forces found 32 pink psychotropic pills with the inscription WY placed in a white plastic bag in the red bag that Zin Thaw was carrying. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that he had bought it from Pyaesone Han aka Ayoe.

Therefore, the security forces continued to search the home of Pyaesone Han and found 15 pink pills with the inscription WY.

In addition, five sheets of ten thousand kyat banknotes, two sheets of A4 paper with 10,000 kyats printed on them and the materials used to make conunterfeit banknotes. In addition, two fake national registrations cards and parts of hand-made gun and bullets were seized.
