Myanmar Police Force announced a statement that a woman, around age 30, was stabbed to death after she was accused of being “Dalan”[informant] at Koepin village in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, on January 14th.
When a victim namely Khin Thu stayed at home together with her husband around 5:30 pm of January 14th, five people led by Thar Htet from PDF arrived and they entered to the house. Later, the PDF threatened the couple with the guns and knives and then they ordered to sit her husband Phoe Nyein and stabbed Khin Thu who was accused of being informant with the knives. Khin Thu died on the spot by getting a fatal stabbings on her neck, left and right breast, according to the announcement of police force.
Similarity, the security members received information saying that two wounded men arrived at the Pakokku People’s Hospital in the afternoon of January 14th. So, they investigated the inpatient men who were wounded due to landmine explosion.
The victims said that they went to the plot of farmland situated in the east of Yarpyingyi village in the morning of January 14th. However, they traded on the homemade mine which planted on their way and got the injuries due to landmine explosion.
