The operating hours of Thanlwin Bridge (Hpa-an) and Donthami Bridge, located along the Yangon–Thaton–Hpa-an Highway, have been extended, according to locals.

Thanlwin Bridge (Hpa-an), which was previously open to traffic from 6 am. to 8 pm.  is now operating from 5 am. to 10 pm. The extended schedule took effect on November 1, a local resident said.

The resident also reported that Donthami Bridge, located between Thaton and Hpa-an at the border of Mon and Kayin states, has extended its operating hours from 6 am.–6 pm. to 5 am.–8 pm., also effective November 1.

The extension of Thanlwin Bridge's operating hours is expected to make travel more convenient for residents living on the western bank of Hpa-an Township, particularly for healthcare, social and business-related activities.

Meanwhile, Gyaing Bridge (Zarthabyin), along the Hpa-an–Mawlamyine Highway, is reportedly open to traffic from 4 am. to 9 pm.
