Up to 306 people dead from COVID-19 in Mdy

A total of 306 people died from COVID-19 in Mandalay Region till January 5, according to figures from COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee for the region.

The number of new cases of COVID-19 is declined in Mandalay district from January 1 to 5 and a total of 504 people were infected with COVID-19 virus within five days. A total of 11,526 confirmed patients in the district are found till now and up to 264 people have died.

According to the figures from the committee, there are 9,835 out of 11,526 confirmed patients discharged from the hospital and 264 deaths in Mandalay District, 268 out of 300 confirmed patients discharged from the hospital and 9 deaths in Pyinoolwin District, 450 out of 548 confirmed patients discharged from the hospital and 4 deaths in Kyaukse District, 346 out of 376 confirmed patients discharged from the hospital and 2 deaths in Meiktila District, 581 out of 718 confirmed patients discharged from the hospital and 16 deaths in Myingyan District, 151 out of 154 confirmed patients discharged from the hospital in Yamethin District and 194 out of 220 confirmed patients discharged from the hospital in Nyaung-U District.

A total of 11 out of 306 people died from the COVID-19 in the region from other states and regions.

There are 71deaths in Aungmyethazan Township, 68 deaths in Chanayethaza Township, 46 deaths in Maha Aungmye Township, 32 deaths in Chanmyathazi Township, 16 deaths in Pyigyidagun Township, 22 deaths in Amarapura Township and nine deaths in Patheingyi Township.
