Two Myanmar workers killed in gas cylinder explosion at iron factory in Malaysia

According to the Myanmar Social Assistance Association (Malaysia), two Myanmar workers died tragically after a gas cylinder exploded in an iron factory located in Selangor, Malaysia.

The accident occurred on February 23 in Puchong, when a gas boiler used for cutting iron rods detonated at the factory.

The victims were identified as 33-year-old Ko Pyae Sone Phyo from Launglon Township, Taninthayi Region, and 29-year-old Ko Shaing Aung from Tanse Township, Sagaing Region. Their remains were cremated at a cemetery 14 miles from Puchong City on March 18 at 11:00 am.
