The Central Committee on Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) of Myanmar announced that they seized 5.95kg of psychotropic substance (Happy Water) and a six-shooter revolver in Kwanhein Township, Shan State on 6 January.

The drugs, worth 654.5 million kyats, were found in a Probox car driven by Myo Thet Ko, who was heading to Karli from Maing Pyin.

The police also arrested two accomplices, Sai Kawra (a) Sai Kham Mat and Moe Thet Ko (a) Bhai Bhai, who had a Toyota Crown car, 29 bullets and two mobile phones.

The three suspects are being held at Nhamsan police station and the investigation is ongoing.
