Stimulant tablets of over Ks.14 billion seized in Pale, Mingalardon Township

More than Ks.14 billion worth of stimulant tablets of 9.5 million seized in Pale, Mingalardon township according to a statement issued by Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC ) Myanmar on October 8.

According to the investigation, these stimulant tablets were transported from Thibaw Township, northern Shan State to Mingalardon Township in Yangon Region.

According to the tip-off, security forces searched  No-199/B in Ngu Wah road, pale (2) ward, in Mingalardon Township on September 29 at 9:30 pm. From the Hino vehicle parked in the compound, they seized over Ks.14 billion worth of stimulant tablets of 9.5 million together with Ks. 5 million from driver Zaw Win. Together with driver Zaw Win, vehicle helpers Zeya and Myat Moe were arrested. 

Action has been taken to driver Zaw Win, vehicle helpers Zeya and Myat Moe. Investigation is being made to arrest those involved in the case according to CCDAC Myanmar.
