At least six village and village-tract administrators resigned in Pale Township, Yinmabin District, Sagaing Region, on August 3, according to local sources.

The administrators put up their resignations citing their inability to perform the duties assigned by the State conscientiously as the reason.

Those who resigned as community administrators were from Oohnauk Village-tract, Kandauk Village-tract, Talaikan Village, Aungchantha Village, Mayogon Village-tract and Chinmyit Village-tract.

Moreover, Bandoola Ward administrator U Khin Swe from the town of Butalin and Nandawin Ward administrator U Soe Myint from Monya resigned on August 1 and 2 respectively.
