Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that transferring of power to the party which wins in the new election and smooth processes depend on the cooperation of the people and international community.

He said these words at the meeting 4/2021 of the Union government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at the office of SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw on December 30.

"As a government, it has to implement development of the country, rule of law and administration and so implementation of the government is important. Since they have taken the State’s duty, five point Road Map has laid and election commission was reformed, voting lists were rechecked and action has been taken. As a result, success has been made to some extent," he said.

Having all tasks concerning the last point of the five-point road map of the State Administration Council been accomplished, a new election will be held and the State power will be handed over to the winning party. Smooth peace processes depend on the cooperation of the people and the international community. The first four points of the roadmap support the last point. If one harms the first four points, it will be a hindrance to the last point. At present, the government will not change its policy, he added.

Concerning peace, they are always inviting peace discussion. Soon, peace meetings can be held  due to negotiations and much improvement  and benefits will be made concerning peace continued Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing.
