The nomination list for the three vacant ministerial posts in the Kachin State government was submitted to Kachin State Parliament on January 29.

The three posts for the ministers for agriculture, livestock and irrigation, social affairs and natural resources and environmental conservation have become vacant after orders came from the President Office on resignation permission and job termination on January 21.

The three nominees are MP Kyaw Kyaw Win for Moenyin Township Constituency (2) as minister for agriculture, livestock and irrigation, incumbent minister for development affairs Nay Win as minister for social affairs and Naw Li from Waimaw Township Constituency No (2) as minister for natural resources and environmental conservation.

The speaker of Kachin State Parliament said any objection could be raised to the nominations in accord with the law but warned against any personal feeling.

The Kachin State government is formed with seven civilian ministers, one security and border affairs minister appointed by the military and four ministers for ethnic affairs.
