Golden Myanmar Airlines is planning to expand its flights to Dawei and Kawthoung with a new ATR plane, according to its CEO Kyaw Nyein.

The plane arrived at Yangon International Airport from France on August 23.

The airline is operating domestic flights to Mandalay, Putao, Myitkyina, Nyaung-U, Heho, Techilek, Lashio, Thandwe and Sittwe using two ATR – 72 600 series planes.

“We are waiting for permission to introduce new flight schedules,” said the CEO.
