A bomb blast took place at the NLD party office in Mandalay Region at around 1 am on October 28, sources said.

The bomb exploded at NLD office located at 62nd Street between 33rd and 34th streets, Chanayethasan Township in Mandalay.

The blast took place on the third and fourth floors of the Regional Office building around 1 am on October 28 and it shattered windows in nearby houses.

The windows in front of the office and on the second, third and fourth floors were shattered by the explosion.

The NLD office in Mandalay Region has been closed and sealed since February.
