Clashes broke out in Namkham and Tamoenye: SAC Spokesman

It’s been more than a month that armed groups are attacking military bases in Namkham and clashes broke out in Namkham and Tamoenye, northern Shan State according to Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, Spokesman of the State Administration Council (SAC).

He made the comment when briefing on the skirmishes took place in Namkham and Tamoenye in northern Shan State, and Nonebu in north of Paletwa.

“Exchange of fire broke out in Namkham and Tamoenye, northern Shan State, and it’s been over a month that armed groups are attacking military bases in Namkham,” said SAC Spokesman.

He added that Head of State and military leaders are very honored concerning the courage and zeal of the military and security forces members in Namkham.

Some clashes broke out in Nonebu in north of Paletwa. Military and security forces are safeguarding the three main National Causes, he added. They are fighting for the independence of the country and sovereignty of a nation. No matter what, they will win the battle, he continued.
