An Airbus A320 plane bought by MAI arrives in Ygn

The new Airbus A320-214 plane bought by the Myanmar Airways International (MAI) arrived in Yangon International Airport (YIA) from Amsterdam Airport, Netherlands on September 5.

The MAI bought two new planes from Airbus Company to expand its international flights and the last one will be arriving in coming October.

The airline is flying from Yangon to Bangkok, Singapore, Guangzhou and Kolkata using three A319 aircrafts.

The airline is cooperating with Meebang Air Agencies to introduce regular flights to South Korea in November. It is planning to introduce direct flights between Myanmar and South Korea with four times per week.

It is operating regular flight services to Bangkok, Singapore, Guangzhou, Gaya and Kolkata based in Yangon International Airport and Mandalay International Airport. It is also running chartered flight services to China.
