In a tragic incident, homemade mortar shells struck Shweliwine Ward in Mogok Township, Mandalay Region. 

The attack, carried out by an insurgent group on the evening of June 27, resulted in the deaths of two civilians, including a novice. Additionally, four other novices were wounded. 

The injured individuals and the deceased were promptly transported to Mogok People’s Hospital for medical attention.
