A loan officer from the microfinance company killed and the body was missing in Khe Mauk village, Bilin Township on May 12.

Aung Thiha, a loan officer from Sathapana Limited Myanmar from Leikin ward in Thahton, disappeared on May 12 when he went to follow on borrowers in Khe Mauk village, Bilin Township. His body was buried at the back of the borrower’s house and it was discovered on May 13.

“The man was from the Sathapana Limited Myanmar, which is a microfinance company. He was killed when he went to the borrower’s house and buried at the back of the house. The couple who killed him took his motorcycle and cash and run from the area,” said a local.

His body was sent to Bilin hospital and investigation has been made concerning the case.
