Music concerts will be organized in major cities of Myanmar including Yangon and Mandalay on the night of New Year Eve with performances from top vocalists and bands.
Such music shows will also be staged at hotels, shopping centres and public recreation centres.
Among those concerts is The Great Empire Rock & Bike Festival to be held in Bagan. At the festival, Emperor Band and Zaw Win Htut, Ringo and R Zarni, Runner Band and Wai La, Big Bag and other youth bands like Hannay, The Zens and The Myth. The festival will also be attended by motorbiking enthusiasts from across the country. A market festival with sale of Bagan cultural objects will also be organized. The show will last until the New Year Countdown.
The New Year Countdown 2019 of Iron Cross Band will be held at Mandala Thiri sports ground in Mandalay city with performances of Lay Phyu, Ange, Myogyi and Wyne Wyne.
A New Year Eve concert together with a dinner will be held Chatrium Hotel in Yangon city. Chit Kaung, Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein, Phyo Pyae Zone and Jewel will present their songs. Moreover, Nwe Yin Win, Eaint Chit, Sithu Lwin and Ye Lay will perform at the New Year Countdown show of Lotte Hotel.
