4.9-Magnitude earthquake hits Myanmar Sea near Pyapon

A minor earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale struck the Myanmar Sea on April 2, 2019, at 10:57:14 pm. The epicenter was located 53 miles south-southeast of Pyapon, at a latitude of 15.53 degrees north and a longitude of 95.85 degrees east, with a depth of 27 kilometers according to Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH).
