A book fair is being held for three days at Yangon Book Plaza in commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of Martyrs Day, which fell on July 19. 

It is the third time the book plaza has held the book fair that will last from July 19 to 21. 

Books will not be sold at their original prices. Some can be available at prices of K300 or 300 which are similar to rates of book loaning. More than 30,000 books can be bought at the lowest prices. 

Moreover, recently published books can be available on 10% to 20 discounts.   

"We have held such book fairs in three consecutive years in commemoration of Martyrs Day. Our aim is to ensure that everyone can buy books at the lowest prices," said an official from Yangon Book Plaza.
