A total of 11 traffic accidents occurred in Yangon-Mandalay Highway during October where 7 were killed and 22 were injured according to Nay Pyi Taw Highway traffic police force.

In the 11 accidents occurred in Yangon-Mandalay Highway during October, 9 men and 13 women were injured totaling 22 and 4 men and 3 women were killed while 12 were taken action.

Thirteen car accidents occurred during January where 8 were killed and 13 injured, 12 car accidents occurred during February where 11 were killed and 15 injured, 15 car accidents occurred during March where 11 were killed and 60 injured, 20 car accidents occurred during April where 14 were killed and 36 injured, 16 car accidents occurred during May where 7 were killed and 29 injured, 7 car accidents occurred during June where 3 were killed and 8 injured, 14 car accidents occurred during July where 7 were killed and 16 injured, 9 car accidents occurred during August where 3 were killed and 29 injured, 20 car accidents occurred during September where 7 were killed and 48 injured according to the data of Highway traffic police force.

From January to October 2023, a total of 137 car accidents broke out where 78 were killed and 276 injured. During these periods, 141 people were taken action in accordance with the law.

Within 10 months of 2023, an average of 13 car accidents occurred per month, 27 were injured and 8 were killed and 14 were taken action according to the data.
